We love Oxford. Oxford represents the best of Britain: beautiful buildings, historic charm, friendly people and an atmosphere that buzzes with energy and forward thinking.

Oxford is home to perhaps the most famous university in the world. The combination of the university’s inspiring architecture and its global reputation for scholarship led the poet Matthew Arnold to call it: There are many summer programmes in Oxford.

We’re different:

1 We have a hands-on, interactive approach to teaching. You won’t just learn in the classroom – you’ll go on fun Challenges and meet
our inspirational Heroes

2 We give you a real insight into what it’s like to be a student: you’ll live in student accommodation, gain experience of independent study and be supported by our team of Activities Coordinators who are current undergraduates

3 We have a limited number of students, which means everyone gets to know each other and make great friends from around the globe. We’re a family-run summer school, so your parents can be confident you will be well looked after

                                                      OUR ACCOMMODATION

Oxford accomodation

Want to know what it’s really like to live like a university student?
Being a student means experiencing independent living. You’ll be getting your very own bedroom and bathroom in our contemporary accommodation at St Thomas’, St George’s and Lampl.
Our buildings are in the heart of Oxford, and are owned by St Peter’s College and Corpus Christi College, two of the 38 colleges of Oxford University. They are where third year students live during term time. There is a common room where you’ll have the chance to relax and chat with your newly made friends.

Corpus Christi College was founded in 1517, while St Peter’s College is a more modern college (founded in 1928 with the aim of providing an education at Oxford for around 40 bright students with limited funds).
Famous alumni from the two colleges include:

• Mark Carney; Governor of the Bank of England
• Edward Akufo-Addo; former President of Ghana
• Reverend Wilbert Vere Awdry; creator of Thomas the Tank Engine
• Isaiah Berlin; famous philosopher

“Thank you so much! I’ve had an amazing time and when Sheriff said that he hoped that this would be one of the best summers of our lives, I was sceptical as I’ve had some great ones, but this definitely was THE best summer I’ve had! On the feedback form, you asked us to summarise our experience in a quote, truth is, that’s impossible, you’d need several books to describe all the fun we had. I met wonderful people who I hope that I will keep in contact and did things I never would have done otherwise. So thanks for making this summer exceptional!”
Ahmed (Parent)
“We are delighted to hear Andrea’s stories about her trip, the people she met, the staff, the places she visited etc...She is a new young woman with a vast experience interacting with young people from all around the world and learning from their cultures, their traditions, their schools and families. This new generation is so lucky to participate in these experiences so early in their life and we are blessed in having a chance to offer to our kids. In my name and my husband, THANK YOU!”
Jennifer (Parent)
“This summer changed my life. It changed my idea of other cultures, changed the way I see other perspectives,  changed the way I want to live my life. I can never forget any of you. I love you all, and I’ll always see this trip and this session as one of the greatest two weeks of my life”- Bella
